Covering everything from hazard checks and personal protection to CPR, AED use, and choking response, this online first aid course emphasizes safety, awareness, and practical decision-making. Through interactive activities, real-world examples, and step-by-step instruction, participants gain essential knowledge to provide effective first aid until professional help arrives.
Note: This is an awareness-level course. It does not include hands-on practice or skills evaluation. For official certification, learners should complete a certified program through a recognized provider.
Course Overview
When a medical emergency occurs, your first actions can make a critical difference. By the end of this first aid fundamentals course, learners will know how to act decisively in emergencies and provide safe, effective support.
This training prepares learners to:
- Recognize medical emergencies and respond with confidence.
- Protect themselves and others through safe practices and PPE.
- Perform a primary assessment of airway, breathing, and circulation.
- Use CPR and AEDs effectively.
- Assist with choking incidents and life-threatening bleeding.
- Provide care for seizures, allergic reactions, asthma, strokes, and shock.
- Understand legal protections under Good Samaritan laws.

PASS MARK
Learners must score at least 80% on the final exam to pass. Three attempts are provided.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
A certificate of completion is awarded upon successful completion of the final exam.
