Course Overview
The Confined Space Entry – Train the Trainer course equips participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to deliver effective Confined Space Entry training in accordance with Provincial OHS regulations across Canada. The program combines adult learning principles with in-depth confined space safety instruction, ensuring trainers can both understand the material and teach it competently to others.
The course is divided into two key sections. Part 1: Train the Trainer focuses on the fundamentals of adult education, how adults learn, how to design training that engages participants, and how to evaluate whether learning objectives are being met. Part 2: Confined Space Entry provides the full technical knowledge required to teach safe entry procedures, hazard recognition, legal responsibilities, atmospheric assessment, emergency response, and the proper selection and use of PPE.
By the end of this program, learners will be fully prepared to deliver the complete Confined Space Entry course and support safe work practices in their organization.
